Step 1, Photo 1: The screws need to first be attached backwards into the Techwell because the diameter at the bottom is smaller so they may never fall out.

Step 2, Photo 2: We recommend that Purple Loctite or Vibra-Tite VC-3 (at least Blue Loctite) is put onto that threads to insure that the screws are held in place.

Step 3: Slide the Techwell on until firm contact is made with the “front bumper”.

Step 4: Tighten down the screws carefully, a bit at a time on each side after they make contact. Make sure not to strip the threads.

Okay, so that should do it, BUT if you want to make 100% sure of no movement ever, with less screw pressure, here are the next steps –

Step 5, Photo 3: Loosen the screws all of the way back until the threads start to firm up, and slide the Techwell off. You will see that the screws left very obvious marks in the lower (Photo 3), drill an indent exactly on each of these marks (Photo 4), then possibly add a little of the LocTite againg, then steps 3 and 4 again, et voila!

If your lower has an additional coating on it (meaning over the hard coat anodization they all begin with), you will need some additional installation information BEFORE INSTALLATION.
